OUR EAGLES CAN FLY

With colourful wings the sky was painted
Our  team of eagles flew so high
They soar and glide and scored real goals
storm of opposition raged so hard
little hopes we had in them
critics cried so loud and strong
still they choose to see the goals

In early games we saw no win
They played a draw with opposing team
The trophy they saw with a victory's mind
when hope is lost and trust had gone
what we see decides the win
Victory is sure inspite of all

Our eagles can fly now we know
Our nation our country can fly also
If we choose to see the best
and focus on nothing but to build our land
Unity of purpose will keep us strong
We'll win again in all our sectors
The loot will stop and growth will rise
Lets sheath the sword and kill no more
Our Green White Green will fly so high

Our country Nigeria will fly again
this hope is real because we won!

Only Believe!

The future belongs to the believer for they see with  closed eyes  what  the opened  eyes cannot see

They have  the experience  of what has been  seen within

They live in edifices that have never been built

They speak  languages different from their age

They operate in  worlds  yet discovered

They interact with buddies yet acquainted

They use  currencies yet created

They owned innovations yet invented

They bring the future into the present and take the present into the future
 

With grit of determination they surmount oppositions converting bricks of criticism to stepping stones unto prominence

They falter often but they rise always stronger than ever. They make mistakes but they are bigger than their mistakes and hold on to victory

They look away from self and focus on others for that’s their life’s mission

Their songs are different, often unacceptable but they sing all the same

They do not compromise their uniqueness, a priceless asset they owed

Distinct amongst their values is a dogged believe  on integrity, describing their action as credible in public and in closet

Their mission and vision are clear as crystal taking focus as a guide to war against distraction they move and soar above known limitations to achieve the image conceived in their dreams.

Only believe!

Just do it!

Planning for ages
Talking for decades
Musing for hours
Thinking for ever

A step and  a plan will do
A move and some talk will work
Musing and acting is good
Thinking and doing impacts

The change can come
The plan can work
The dream can live
The thought can grow

The sun will rise
The stars will shine
The rain will drop
The rose will bloom

The first step leads the trail
The first move carve the path
The first goal paves the way
The first act gets it done

The picture of a better day
The image of a greater act
The starting of  a worthy cause
The making of a lofty dream

The better it gets
The bigger it grows
The wider the scope
The farther it goes

The resources will flow
The assistance will come
The benefit will show
The vision is now!

I want to write

Laid quietly beneath the unscathed surface of my being is an intense desire to write!
Having procrastinated for days untold I have now decided to give voice to an endowment. 
Going through  classic pieces  of articulate volumes the estimate of my competence laid bare, but from the knowledge of the great divine I have learned not to despise His gifting.
Hence I gather strength and decided to;
Look within not without
Draw from Grace not from man
Express  my style unique to bless
Unveil the best with thought and ink.
